season of the list : outsourcing number ten

favorite albums of 2007
I'm trying to finish my Idolator ballot and can't decide what should be the tenth album in my list of favorites for 2007. This is what I have right now, in a possible order:
  1. Jens Lekman -- Night Falls Over Kortedala
  2. LCD Soundsystem -- Sound of Silver
  3. Radiohead -- In Rainbows
  4. the Arcade Fire -- Neon Bible
  5. Beirut -- the Flying Cup Club
  6. Andrew Bird -- Armchair Apocrypha
  7. Broken Social Scene Presents Kevin Drew -- Spirit If ...
  8. Okkervil River -- the Stage Names
  9. Handsome Furs -- Plague Park

Poll #1107832 number 10

number ten, check all that apply

Animal Collective -- Strawberry Jam
Battles -- Mirrored
Bright Eyes -- Cassadaga
Bon Iver -- For Emma, Forever Ago
Feist -- The Reminder
Sigur Ros -- Hvarf--Heim
Spoon -- Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
Vampire Weekend -- Blue CD-R
Voxtrot -- Voxtrot
_________ -- ________

Maybe the real problem is that I can't decide whether Writer's Block counts as a 2007 release and I didn't even listen to Kala because of a graph [earlboykins].

That is a good list! Mine would be approximately:
1. Jens Lekman -- Night Falls Over Kortedala (omg)
2. Peter Bjorn & John -- Writer's Block
3. LCD Soundsystem -- Sound of Silver
4. Andrew Bird -- Armchair Apocrypha
5. Okkervil River -- the Stage Names
6. Fujiya & Miyagi -- Transparent Things
7. Spoon -- Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
8. Beirut -- the Flying Cup Club
9. the Arcade Fire -- Neon Bible
10. Radiohead -- In Rainbows
Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is one, like Mirrored, that I appreciated as being good but didn't ever really get stuck in my head.
That's how I feel about everything after #6. I appreciate its goodness, but I didn't play the crap out of it like the first 6. Especially the first four.
i'm not done yet but your list looks a lot like mine, except caribou - andorra and menomena - friend and foe will probably be on there. granted, i liked kala so what do i know?
I haven't even heard Kala (or friend or foe) so what do I know?

I did like Andorra, but I didn't listen to it much and think I like Caribou better live than on record.

iTunes store claims Writer's Block came out in Feb of 07. Therefore, 2007!
That was its U.S. release date; I feel like I heard it in 2006 when it came out overseas.

you're putting way too much thought into this.

not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that.
I'm pretty much over it. But it is very confusing -- Pitchfork had it on their 2006 list, Rolling Stone has it on their 2007 list.
