Sunday night with Thunderbirds Are Now! was pretty entertaining, too. The keyboard player was hilariously enthusiastic -- full body keyboarding, occasional massive tambourine freak-out, and weird uses of duct tape. I was planning for a night of exclamation point bands, but We Say Party! You Say Die! got stuck in Canada. I guess America is not yet ready for them. Someday ...
Tonight the usual pub quiz gang plus a couple of new recruits checked out the scene at Kate's Pub. It was far too jarring to be in a new environment (not to mention the awful sound system); so we might return to our regular dose of punishment at the Irish Emigrant next week.
