not in our news

Apparently there is something else happening in the country other than a hurricane. In a weird twist of fate, this hurricane seems to be somewhat good news for Bush since it's completely distracting from the war protests taking place all over the country.

The Stranger's weblog [#] has been an excellent source of first-person accounts of the protests, both here and in D.C. I can't say the same for CNN, MSNBC, FNC, or CSPAN (which is broadcasting a book festival live from D.C.). Furthermore, they're trying to help the marchers come up with something better than the awful "What do we want? (peace) When do we want it? (now)" chant.
