thursday : medication drills

fun fact: I've been coughing for well over a month. While the old July cold symptoms went away, the cough seems encamped in my lungs for the duration.

I finally went in to see if there was some sort of medical attention that would break my dependence on cough drops. While she wouldn't hand over any antibiotics (yet), the doctor prescribed some sort of space age inhaler and told me to buy more over the counter medicines. This is super fun, because unlike my old rarely used albueterol inhaler that just made me feel like I was going to die, this one has an extra ingredient that makes me feel twitchy. I'm not sure if any of it is helping, but I'm trying to make the best of feeling all drugged up.

Later, I went at Tango for happy hour with friends and people from my department. It is hard to argue with discount mojitos, sangria, and tapas as a way to end a hard day at the old epidemiology factory.

You're a grad student ? What major ?
yeah. in epidemiology at the UW.
Wow. Intense stuff.
