weather appropriate reading

note: I meant to post this a while ago, but the issue wasn't online when I wanted it to be there. Maybe you've already read it?

David Cross explains the party game, Mafia, to the readers of Vice's "Rainy Day" issue:
I'm going to tell you about a parlor game that sounds like the corniest Christian-camp-organized fun you could imagine but that you will instantly become addicted to, guaranteed (unless you're Janeane Garofalo). The game is called Mafia and a Russian psychologist developed it in the early 70s, so there. [vice]
I remember the first time I heard about the game. We all thought that it sounded way too corny (after all, news of the game arrived from Hillsdale College) and I don't think that we even finished. But we certainly didn't become addicted.
