not even trying to be particularly clever

Microsoft Office is so helpful it makes productivity nearly impossible. I think that would be an excellent ad campaign for them. They can have bit of consulting for free.

Sometimes I think that drawing slides and scanning them into a computer would be more effective than using Powerpoint.

If anyone uses a version newer than 97 and finds it better at handling tables, I'd seriously consider buying it.


Joel's trick: when inserting tables into PPT slides, always "Paste Special" and paste as one of the image formats.
