a day for a stolen umbrella

When I found out that my swimming suit wasn't lost (just left in my IMA basket) I decided that I might as well use my after class on campus time for some exercise. After that, I felt more like going home for lunch than going to the office; so I spent the afternoon "working from home" slash watching Law and Order re-runs. Once the futility of getting anything done from my couch became obvious, I went to Victrola for a caffeine boost and found that I was much more successful and not being asleep.

For almost as long as I've lived here, I've always intended to take advantage of the semi-annual 25 for $25 promotion that the restaurants do [#]. Tonight was the last day; so Carole, Atri, Jeff, and I had a late dinner at Restaurant Zoë. I think I picked it because they seemed to have multiple meatless items and it seemed to be a good choice. The food was really good and it was fun to have a sort-of fancy midweek dinner with friends. The only downside is the food-related coma that's about to strike.
