event horizon

At Pub Quiz tonight, we were losing badly and talking about the election and which states Kerry would win and what we would do if he lost. I hate to admit it, but I can't even imagine Wednesday, regardless of the result.

Maybe it's some sort of low grade post-traumatic shock syndrome from 2000. Or maybe it's the fact that I've spent the past six years dreading or despising a Bush presidency. Tack on a couple more for the Clinton impeachment, etc. and it's been a long dark few years. I can only hope that a Kerry victory will bring a little relief, if not happiness.

I'm going to get up early to do G.O.T.V. in either the 11th to make up for my weekend moveon neglect.

Maybe I'll see you at the Stranger election party at Chop Suey?
