I spent most of the day getting ready for a meeting tomorrow. Lots of making numbers come out of Stata and into various Microsoft applications!

After doing that, I went to volunteer with Music for America at Chop Suey. It was night two of the Up records 10 year anniversary festival: Built to Spill, John Atkins, & Mark Pickerel. Highlights: Polly coming onstage to play drums for an old 764-HERO song and getting a neat Built to Spill shirt for helping the Up Records merch people at the end of the show when significantly more people were interested in buying stuff compared to wanting to register to vote or sign-up for the MFA email list.

It is very likely that there is a Music For America show in your neck of the woods: as part of this week(end)'s Party and Politics they're putting on more than 50 events.
