the owls are not what they seem

I slept in, watched a couple more Twin Peaks episodes, took a nap, hid in my room while Tim was watching Twin Peaks (he's still a few ahead), got dinner, and watched more episodes. I think that I would've gone crazy if I had to watch the series in real-time. Waiting a week for resolution between every episode must have been agonizing.

This afternoon, the light was amazing. The yellow leaves on the tree across the street were practically glowing.

It was good day for doing nothing.

I watched Twin Peaks when it was first on network TV. This means that I was in 5th and 6th grade. I didn't entirely get it, but I think it helped to shape my personality.
It seems like some of the early episodes might have been a little disturbing for a fifth grader. Did your family watch the show, or were you just particularly tuned in to the David Lynch phenomenon at an early age?
