another what happened today post for the stalkers

Classes today. In the first one, the professor seems to be overly flustered by the hum of the overhead projector. Yet, the blackboards are too dirty for her to use them effectively. What she needs is a suck-up student to wash the boards for her. That would be perfect. Other than that, it's OK except that she runs out of time because she spends too much time discussing the homework.

In the second class, correlated data, there were a lot of equations. I will definitely need to re-read the notes.

Then, I remembered that I had a seminar. It was sort of like therapy for PhD students.

The Tuesday Night Social Activity for tonight was going to The George & Dragon Pub, "Seattle's Only Authentic English Pub", for quiz night. I arrived about forty minutes early to find the place packed with soccer fans. It was a pay-per-view game. It ended after a couple minutes, and we were able to secure a table. Even though we were pretty clueless about the questions, it was fun.

Being in Fremont, I needed to go to Sonic Boom to buy things. Such as the Wilco documentary on DVD, and new releases from Cursive & autechre. I also went to the used bookstore and got a slightly overpriced copy of Midnight's Children.

"Seattle's Only Authentic English Pub" - notice the quotes, Josh?

How many stalkers do you think you have?
that is such a great website, isn't it?

about the stalkers: oh. i don't know. probably not too many. I meant to change the subject line after I wrote more of a post than I expected to write. But now that you've commented on it, I'll leave it as is. When I started writing, it seemed like a post that would only be of interest to stalkers (on tuesday, josh goes to class in the health sciences building from 10:30-5 with a break from 12-1:30 and goes to Fremont around 7 for quiz night and impulse purchases).

oh well.
That website is pretty amazing. Too bad Fremont is crappy. Or do you disagree? I always go there expecting fun, yet fun never happens.

About the stalkers: I'm sure I could arrange one, if you really want.
Everything in quotes is suspect. That would've been a much better title for this post.
I don't think that Fremont is necessarily crappy, but it's not everything they claim to be. Center of the Universe. You're just looking for a letdown when you choose a name like that. Still, I like certain things in Fremont, such as the pub.
It really all depends on the quality of the stalker. Like Fremont, it probably wouldn't be as fun as advertised.
I've actually spent a lot of time in that pub since i got back from england. it's the only place that they play premier league (English soccer) games live in the seattle area. Tuesday nights blow because the quiz people get in the way of the real (fake) english soccer (football) fans (fans).

people like you!
It seems like the scheduling problem must be intentional.
