After brunch we celebrated a surprising birthday by doing arts andcrafts over champagne and cake in an apartment. We took the collage kites to the park and tried to make them fly, but the absence of evena breeze complicated matters.
Many attempts, some chalk games anddance moves later, we went to Oddfellows where we squeezed many people around two tables. By the time we’d finished, the line at Molly Moonhad become less intimidating; so the evening closed with delicious icecream (for me, a scoop of ginger and balsamic strawberry in a wafflecone).
Having so many tasty dairy products in the heart of my neighborhood could prove dangerous.
