So that David Foster Wallace interview [#] that I posted to my del.icio.us is pretty good so far. It is, however, over ten years old. I didn't realize this because the date is at the bottom. Though maybe I should have since it's about the television essay, doesn't mention Infinite Jest or anything after, and there are sections that take down Brett Easton Ellis, who hasn't had a new book out for years.

Kate's leaving for the Peace Corps on Friday; so tonight we got the old gang together at Rachel and Jon's house for a final farewell potluck. It was a lot of fun, but also sad because it's always sad when friends are moving away for a long time. Even when they're leaving to do something great, and especially when they're the great, positive, and upbeat sort.

Also: the Sasquatch lineup looks pretty great. [hob] Now, I'll just need to convince some people to go. Which, incidentally, will be harder now that Kate is fleeing the country to do good.
