the only earth?

For the past couple of days, I've been going to the office in the afternoon and going back to campus to interview people who want to be the new student technology fee coordinator. It's been really not terribly exciting.

Yesterday I tried to sit outside Met Park to read when the student office was overcrowded. I was pretty successful, except for the part where they tested the sprinklers, and the part where I accidentally bloodied my foot with a crappy patio chair.

On the bus the other day a woman stood up to get off the bus and was thrown to the floor when it stopped. It was kind of like when people are picked up by big waves at the ocean. I can see it coming, but it never really occurs to me to intervene.

Tonight I took Flash for a walk to Dick's to get an ice cream sundae we ran into an unfriendly dog on the way. We escaped unscathed. When I went to pay for my order I realized that I'd left my cash in the ATM.

And now I'm watching Tadpole. Whatever.
