ended my big fun day by having a milkshake from dick's at rachel's. even though i skipped the hike, they still brought be a milkshake. the hot tub was low on water, so the pump wasn't happy. adding water made the hot tub warm, not hot. since the weather took a turn for the cooler, it wasn't too bad.
tomorrow, i think we'll see minority report. I'd like to go to the capitol hill block party if I can find someone who wants to go.
something that I notice while I'm not really watching the television this morning: there is a game show network. on this channel, there's a rerun of the $25,000 pyramid, probably taped in the mid-1980s, where a woman wins $25,000 for guessing categories like "things that protrude" based on clues given by a celebrity.
Last week, I saw a game show on NBC where a woman took off all of her clothes for a chance to throw nerf footballs through a target to win the same amount of money.
after minority report, which was pretty fun but had its share of plot holes and suffered from spielberg's recent inability to end a film properly, we walked around looking for food. we settled at the pike pub & brewery where i had the best veggie burger ever.
i'm sure there are better burgers out there, but this is the best one i've eaten. technically, it was a black bean burger.
after dinner, we went to the candy shop next door where i ate half of a apple pie caramel apple -- apple + caramel + white chocolate + cinnamon sugar.
