the only earth?

looking out the window, i momentarily confused the clouds for mountains. it was a really jarring sensation when my conscious and subconscious got together and figured it out. the thing is, the clouds don't really look like mountains at all.

despite the hallucinations, i do enjoy the windows with the slightly odd view.

for instance, there is a boat spraying water in lake union. not to put out a fire or anything. just spraying, having fun i guess.

the only earth?

on the fun train.

After spending the day at the CHRU smoothing out a results section for my thesis, I went and bought some stuff to read off the University Bookstore's clearance tables. Heavy Water by Martin Amis and Brief Interviews With Hideous Men by David Foster Wallace. I read most of the stories in Brief Interviews ... elsewhere, but since the book was less than $5, I thought it was worth it.

On the way home, I stopped at solstice to read a little bit.

After that, I went for a quick jog. Now I need to make up some fictional details of the study site for this wonderful group project.
