the only earth?

this is another way to avoid thinking

Last night, I didn't sleep very much. Random insomnia. I didn't fall asleep until well after 2 and woke up a couple of hours before my 8 o' clock class. So that's always fun. It seems like daylight savings time should be coming soon.

Feeling inspired by the state of my wakefulness after two classes, I headed downtown to do some work. I would like to be done with this paper sooner than later.

At this point, most of the caffeine has worn off and I've been mostly staring out the window for the past hour or so. The sky is blue. It is nice to look at. Every once in a while, I type something into the computer, write something on my yellow legal pad, or read from the stack of articles. Sometimes I use the highlighter.

I think it's time to give up and head home.

the only earth?

weird observations

(1) the CBS NCAA Basketball championship theme song is really incredibly cheesy. I mean the "one shining moment" song is a little cornball, but they managed to make it even worse. I feel like I should care that Indiana lost, but I don't. I'm petty that way.

(2) there are benefits to attending a school where students don't set things on fire because of basketball.

(3) the Burke-Gilman trail smells not so fresh this evening. It was dark out while I was running, so I'm just pretending it's just fertilizer and not something dead.
