the only earth?

lame Sunday adventures

Having exhausted my food supply to the level where my only dining options were cookies and leftover candy, I decided that it was probably about time to consider groceries. Since I had free time and Albertson's now charged for every order, I thought that it would be fun to do my own shopping. So I checked out a FlexCar and went for my first grocery expedition since moving to Seattle.

Having been spoiled by homegrocer/webvan of so long, I forgot that Sunday is a psychotic day to face the crowds. This slowly dawned on me as I made my way through the aisles of Trader Joe's. Even in my unconditioned state, I managed to buy a lot of neato items so I won't have to go hungry for a while.

As cool as the Trader Joe's items are, I couldn't bring myself to abandon my love for big business breakfast cereals, so I stopped at Safeway for Raisin Bran Crunch and a couple pharmacy items.

When I got home, I put away most of the foodstuffs and had a nice (fish-free) sushi lunch. Somehow, my body decided that a nap was in order, so I went along for the ride. I fell asleep with the TV on TNN and woke up to some Conspiracy Zone show that helped to explain the weirdness of my napdreams.

the only earth?

there are pigs feet on my kitchen counter. I don't even want to know which one of my roommates is planning to eat these. I just want to forget that I ever saw them. And writing about it is probably not the best way to do that.
