Re: rights of youth / riots

rights and concerns follow the baby boomers. when a lot of them were young out goes in loco parentis. now they are getting older and paternalism on campus rears its ugly head. we may be the key demographic , but they are the drivers of policy.
Also, the feeling of a loss of control and an attempt to hold on to their influence / a reluctance to " pass the torch" to the new adults. We've seen it with the portrayal of the Slacker Gen-X, when the reality is that it is Gen-X that has driven the market past 10,000 on the wealth of the aging Boomers
