bad boring dreams all come true

The show at the Crocodile was very fun. Lots of good people. Ellen and I kept trying to find people who were on the livejournal, but were mostly unsuccessful.

Carissa's Wierd and The Prom were super excellent, as usual. The Decemberists were a nice surprise too. Another great feature of the performance was hearing Carissa's Wierd cover my favorite guilty pleasure song, Avril Lavigne's "Complicated", complete with special appearance by Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard.

Carissa's Wierd dressed up for Valentine's Day. Most of them were wearing ties. The lead singer even stood up and didn't wear his traditional mesh-hat.

After the show, and after closing out my tab I talked to William WIlson from Aveo. I told him that I really liked his band but thought that the fuzzy hat was questionable. He wasn't really very receptive, saying that he used it to cover for his out of control hair. He also mentioned that he lost his brown hat and that the fuzzy hat was a replacement from his bandmates.

My throat is all funny. I think that's about it for now. I'll look at the pictures tomorrow.

I probably would have bopped you on the nose with that hat.

Re: Goober

you're absolutely right. I am usually unnecessarily shy and not the type of person to interrupt a total stranger's conversation with unsolicited advice. Or even to give critical advice. I'm not sure why I did it. Well, I sort of know why, but that doesn't make it acceptable to be rude.

As I mentioned, I saw him today and he still didn't hit me; so that says something about him being a pretty nice guy.

That said, have you seen this hat?

Hee hee.

I really like William. He's one of the sweetest, smartest boys I've ever met. That said, I have no comment on the hat (!!!).
be sure to pass on my apologies the next time you see him!

perhaps with a new hat?
