Last night's show at Graceland was great. I was impressed with the Terror Sheets and Carissa's Wierd was excellent as usual. Both bands had some sound issues, but they worked through it and no instruments were destroyed. 764-hero reminded me that I should really listen to their CD more often.

This afternoon I decided that I'd finally see Amelie. I'd been wanting to see it since before xmas and kept worrying that it would stop playing soon. As I stepped out the door, snow started falling. By the time I walked a couple of blocks to the bus stop the light flakes turned hail-like. It is great to see people's reaction to snow here, compared to other places where it is common.

Amelie was very good; I could really identify with the quirky introverted interventionists.
