today

classes in the morning, unpacking in the afternoon. Watching CNN, I remembered that I hadn't voted. Since it needed today's postmark to be valid, I walked up to the post office to mail my absentee ballot.

Back at home, I watched the election returns, which look disappointing all around. Monorail failing, democrats losing, 776 winning. madness. I've been waiting for Michigan's Secretary of State to post the results of local elections so I can see how Nick's doing in his bid for the state house.

I posted some notes on the wedding weekend and put all of my random pictures online. I'm running out of dante space, so I only posted thumbnails, but they're also on oFoto for anyone who wants to make prints. To view that album, or for higher resolution photos, email me.

Oh, and according to unofficial results this morning it looks like Nick lost 46% to 54%. It was Leelanau County that did him in.
yeah. It looks like he needs to either run for a county office or move to a different district if he wants to win.
Yeah, the Traverse area is just so republican that it's hard to get a break. He did pretty well though, considering that.
