preliminary SIFF list

A long list of SIFF movies that looked vaguely interesting, were on someone else's list, or had pretty pictures next to their descriptions. Let me know if there are other better choices or if any of these actually look good. I'm still consolidating, comparing, and contrasting,(and working on an exam), etc.

Though Hawaii, Oslo does look awesome, I'm not kidding about having a party/something that night. I was planning to invite you. But you don't have to come. But it would be fun if you did.
this is why I post -- for helpful advice. It's probably playing on another day anyway.
Yes, it is also playing Thursday June 2 at 4pm.

If it were earlier I'd want to go, but I don't think I could fit in a 9:30pm movie with my other social plans. Which may or may not actually pan out.
if the party plans don't pan out, we can always check out a SIFF. Or make SIFF a party. Or something like that.
i will force my social plans to pan out, even if it's only you, me, and juno. and joe?
also, if there happen to be any other SIFF movies playing that you want to see (for seattle nostalgia purposes, maybe) while you're here, I'd probably be up for it. I will see anything, really.
i will check it out!
I would love to go to the opening and closing night galas, but it's just so bloody expensive. I think the cheapest you can get in for is like $50, which is just absurd to me. You have to be a real scenester for that.
You do get free food and drinks out of the admission price!

hi, i'm sara.

i found you through four's LJ. and we go to the same school and we live in the same neighborhood (i think) and you seem neat. so i hope it's okay that i'm adding you.

Re: hi, i'm sara.

hi! thanks! I will try to check out your journal after I finish my general exam. As silly as it sounds, adding someone in the middle of all of this seems way too stressful.
yeah, ain't no thing. LJ goes on the back burner from time to time for me too, and generals are still a couple of years off for me.
I like that this continues your ethic of LTSKWYA (letting the stalkers know where you are).
my theory is that stalkers want a bit of a challenge. giving away all of this information ruins the fun, so it's more of a preventive measure.

It's based on the observation that almost no one called the phone numbers given in the first edition of A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, even though they were the actual phone numbers of actual people discussed in the book. So far it's working, unless my stalkers are so stealthy that I haven't noticed them yet.

creepy new girl!

i can tell from your ### address that we live within a few blocks of each other, by the way.
